Our Team.

Our teachers all have enhanced DBS checks, first aid training, safeguarding training and chaperone licenses.

Additionally, each of our teachers have relevant dance qualifications and experience and can bring a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the students. They also undertake continuous professional development by keeping up with training and courses to understand the ever-changing industry to bring the most up to date skills and knowledge to each class.

As well as our core teachers, we bring guest teachers in to allow the students to further develop skills and knowledge from others and learn new styles and techniques from other industry professionals.

I began learning Ballet, Tap and Modern-Jazz at the age of 3, completing dance examinations in ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern-Jazz, achieving high grades throughout. From the age of 7, I then successfully auditioned for my local Youth Theatre where I would use my knowledge of dance and combined it with singing and acting, taking part in Musical Productions each year. This passion continued throughout my teenage years and into adulthood, and I still have involvement with the theatre today, taking part in their musical productions. At the age of 14 I began assisting ballet and tap on a voluntary basis which is where I first recognised my passion for teaching. I then went on to study a level 3 Extended Diploma in Dance where I studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Street, Contemporary and Acrobatics, achieving Distinctions throughout. Following this I gained my Higher National Certificate and Higher National Diploma in Dance, achieving Distinctions throughout. I have also attended many professional workshops and classes with renowned choreographers and West End/Broadway Stars, allowing me to keep up with continuous professional development as well as make invaluable industry connections which can be taken back to the students. Over many years I have gained performance experience as well as gained experience choreographing in a variety of styles for a vast array of ages for performances. I have also taught a huge variety of classes at various different dance schools and in primary schools and continue to do so. I am currently completing my BA (Hons) Top Up in Community Theatre and Performance where I am learning skills and delivering dance and drama classes to a wide variety of people within the community. This includes SEND groups, The Elderly, Baby/Toddler groups, prisons and ESOL students. These experiences allow me to be able to adapt and differentiate my teaching to be inclusive to everyone.

My dance journey began at age 6, when I started attending Musical Theatre classes. I fell in love with performing instantly, completing my grade 6 musical theatre by the time I was 13. I then began to hone in on my dance technique, eventually joining a competitive dance team. I practiced every night after school, studied dance terminology and became fascinated by dance choreography and expression. I took classes in tap, ballet, modern, contemporary, lyrical and street - my favourite being contemporary due to its theatrical nature. I began competing with my dance team regularly and from there, I truly fell in love with dance. With the support of my GCSE dance teacher, I started choreographing duets and group numbers for school shows, and ended up receiving a 9 in my dance GCSE exam. I went on to study Music Performance at BIMM Manchester and completed a level 3 diploma, as well as 3 years studying at the Manchester School of Acting, and soon after began teaching musical theatre, screen acting and dance at 19. I am now 20, and intend on teaching, as well as performing, for the rest of my life.
